So much changes over the years, including who we are as individuals, and as a unit. I love that we were able to completely freeze these moments so that they can look back on what life meant for them in that stage. I also love that Mae and her sibling will have these photographs of their parents for the rest of their lives.
Read MoreI don’t normally encourage my couples to do their session inside of a hotel, but this resort was so beautifully curated. The furniture was modern and the light pouring in created this moody glow. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone with film and metering, and I’m so glad that I did. I wanted to show off the light coming through Christina’s jumpsuit, as well as the overall connection between the two of them. We finished the session on the beach, right around sunset. These are some of my favorite engagement photos I’ve ever taken. This is what can happen when you hire a photographer you trust. They gave me total freedom and trusted in the process.
