I met Jess when I shadowed her at one of her engagement sessions about 11 years ago. Wow, I can’t believe it’s been that long. I’ve watched these two move to a new home, then a new state, have a baby, and now have their second.
This session took place a while before they had Mae, their first child. They were living in a gorgeous home in Palm Beach and wanted to capture a time in their lives that was just for them. This is why anniversary sessions are special and important. Their lives will never be the same after having kids. There will never, again, be a time when it’s just about the two of them. So much changes over the years, including who we are as individuals, and as a unit. I love that we were able to completely freeze these moments so that they can look back on what life meant for them in that stage. I also love that their children will have these photographs of their parents for the rest of their lives.
Photography is important. Remembering your life’s stories is important.
