When I was growing up I was extremely close to my girlfriends. We would have sleepovers, dance around in our underwear, and make music videos using my parent’s HEAVY camcorder. It was never sexualized and was perfectly natural and normal. I want it to always be that way.
These two have such a special bond and we wanted to capture it in a unique way. This wasn’t a bachelorette boudoir party, this wasn’t to put on sexy lingerie for their partners, this was to slow down and be in intimate moments with each other and themselves. It was a beautiful trip to Savannah, Georgia and we wanted to document that feeling. There really is a special bond between women and I hope I captured a little piece of that.
