I want to know how I can help you. Are you about to give birth and worried that you won’t be able to get newborn photos taken? Would it be helpful if I walked you through how to get some beautiful photos yourself, until you can book that session? Do you have a DSLR that’s been sitting in your closet and you have have no idea how to even turn it on?
Have you always wondered about makeup or hair tips and tricks to get the best headshots?
Are you looking for a new podcast that will help you grow your business?
Are you wondering the best workouts to do at home?
Looking for new recipes?
Is your head exploding because you don’t want to think about any of this and you just want to crawl into the fetal position until the world gets back to “normal”?
I’ve got you.
This is a scary and sad time. It’s also been an experience that has taught me how important human connection is. I want to help in any way possible.
I’ve been doing weekly, actually a few times a week, Zoom meetings with friends, other photographers, networking groups, etc. It’s been crucial for my mental health. I’m all about lifting each other out, but I’m also just as much about having someone you can see face-to-face and cry with.
I’ve compiled a list of resources that might be helpful. If there is something you need help with that you don’t see on here, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I live on Zoom these days and am always looking to connect.
Let’s start with my favorite thing in the world…FOOD. I’ve been working on this Pinterest Board for years and have made a good number of things you’ll find on here. I typically eat pretty healthy, but you’ll also find indulgences on here (I promise it’s not all vegan). Feel free to snoop around the rest of my Pinterest. I have spent years curating inspiring photographs from many artists.
Here is a podcast that has helped me tremendously with my business.
The same man, Donald Miller, that does the podcast also has a free subscription to short videos that come to your inbox every day. They are amazing!
Creative Mornings is a group that gets together once a month, all over the world. I truly miss meeting and having coffee with these incredible people. They are hosting a bunch of free virtual field trips that you can sign up for (and I highly recommend). These range from “Mindful Meditation” to “WTF is SEO”.
Plant Fitness has a ton of videos they created so that you can workout from home, with no equipment. I also HIGHLY encourage (if you are financially able) to support your independent gyms and fitness coaches during this time. Many of them are doing at-home workouts that you can live stream.

If you’re fortunate enough to be able to give back right now, I encourage you to check with local organizations that need help. If you are able to contribute monetarily, here is a great resource of where to do so:
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any other great resources, or would just like to talk to someone. I’m just a *Zoom call away.
